DIRECTIONS FOR IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE SYSTEM OF STATE REGULATION AND SUPERVISION OF THE QUALITY OF MEDICAL PRODUCTS USING THE EXAMPLE OF SPINACH TOURNIQUETS IN UKRAINE

The article examines the problem of the effectiveness of the system of state regulation and supervision of the quality of medical devices in Ukraine. Using the example of the implementation of turnstiles, it is established that the current control model does not provide an adequate level of guarantees of product safety and effectiveness. The lack of specialized testing standards, insufficient level of after-market surveillance and the spread of counterfeit products create significant risks to the life and health of citizens. The current regulatory framework, features of the procedure for assessing the conformity of medical devices and mechanisms of state market surveillance are analyzed. The main risks associated with the entry of lowquality or counterfeit turnstiles into the market are identified. Particular attention is paid to the impact of such products on the effectiveness of providing home medical care under martial law. Directions for improving the system of quality control of medical devices are proposed by: strengthening after-market surveillance; introducing independent testing of Ukrainian standards with international requirements; ensuring open access to the results of tests and inspections; increasing the responsibility of manufacturers and suppliers for the sale of products that do not meet the established requirements. To solve these problems, comprehensive improvement of legislation, introduction of independent product testing mechanisms, and strengthening of state control are necessary.
