Метою статті є аналіз сучасних адміністративно-правових підходів адаптації законодавства США до зміни клімату. Як свідчить досвід, США здійснюють плідну правову та наукову роботу щодо дослідження та регулювання американської системи управління природними ресурсами, екологічного федералізму, ведення внутрішньої екологічної політики, екологічної справедливості та адаптації країни до змін клімату, тому вивчення їхнього досвіду має велике теоретичне та практичне значення для української правової думки. Розглядаючи сучасні адміністративно-правові підходи адаптації Сполучених Штатів Америки до зміни клімату, можна чітко простежити занепокоєність американської федеральної влади кліматичними змінами, що відбуваються в країні. Дії федеральної влади спрямовуються на створення нових програм, котрі мають забезпечувати життя країни за умов виникнення різних кліматичних катастроф та сприяти їх якнайшвидшому подоланню.
