CONSTRUCTIVE FEATURES OF CYLINDRICAL PIN LOCKING DEVICES TYTAN ZX BY "GERDA" COMPANY

At the present time, one of the most common types of locking devices is cylindrical pin locking devices (hereinafter referred to as CPLD) with a pin mechanism of secrecy. There is a wide variety of design options for these products: hanging, surface-mounted, mortise, door, window, safe, and more. Continuous improvement of the CPLD design, caused by the need to enhance the reliability of security objects, premises, and safes against burglary and unauthorized access, leads to an increase in their mechanical complexity. The increase in the number of code systems (code pin + locking pin + spring), the diversity of the placement of code systems relative to the keyway of locking devices (multi-row arrangement), and the change in the shapes of locking and code pins are intended to complicate or prevent the CPLD from being unlocked using lockpicks or the "bumping" method. Among such CPLDs, the TYTAN ZX CPLD by the "Gerda" company from Poland can be mentioned. The design of the secrecy mechanism of this CPLD is somewhat different from standard CPLDs, it is original and complex for decoding and unlocking. The article presents the results of research into the design features of the construction and the principle of operation of cylindrical pin locking devices of the TYTAN ZX type by the "Gerda" company in the context of developing and manufacturing new special technical means of covert penetration into residential and non-residential premises and other objects.
