Abstract

In the article actual problems of scientific and technical support activities for the investigation of crimes. On the basis of opinions given by the definition of scientists and technology experts provides a classification of scientific and technical means, which are used in expert practice. The current state of logistics activities of investigators and experts during the investigation (investigation) activities and experts in the production of expertise and research. The characteristics and specifications of modern scientific and technical means used to identify, fix, seizure and forensic studies to investigate the important information. Considering the scientific and technical support for the investigation of crimes, you can specify that the development of technical and forensic tools is carried out quite intensively. This assists the interest in the development of this direction of business structures, which is quite natural and acceptable. The main problem in providing pre-trial investigation authorities and expert agencies with modern equipment is insufficient material resources, which, in turn, is associated with a complex socio-economic situation in the country. However, the processes related to the integration of Ukraine to the European Union, require compliance with European standards in many areas, including combating crime, which is impossible without equipping law enforcement agencies with modern technical and forensic tools.
